Before launch: Basic settings for Help center/Internal Knowledge bank
Summary
- Click the menu button at the top right of the header --> Select Settings for your Help Center/Knowledge Base
- Choose Basic Settings
- Fill in name, language, contact form email, visibility on the web, etc.
NOTE! If you have an external Help Center:
Help Center domain: This domain will be visible to customers unless you integrate or use a subdomain.
NOTE! If you have an internal Knowledge Base:
Visibility in search engines: Make sure this box is unchecked so the information doesn't become searchable on search engines.
Categories: We recommend not checking the box “Show guides on the start page” to keep the Help Center cleaner and reduce scrolling. If guides are shown, three guides per category will be displayed, which may push down forum questions and contact options.

Detailed Description
Help Center/Knowledge Base name: What should your Help Center be called? The name you give will appear on the start page.
Company name: Your company’s name, which will also be listed as the sender of the guide.
Search field text: What should be written in the search box where visitors look for guides? E.g., "Search among frequently asked questions."
Email for contact form: If you choose to use an email form as a contact option, emails will be sent to this address.
Description: This is the text that will appear as a description when you link to your Help Center on e.g., social media or search engines.
Help Center domain: What address does your Help Center have?
NOTE: This domain will be visible to customers unless you integrate or use a subdomain.
Language: What language should your Help Center be in?
Forum: If you also use a forum with Kundo, you can link them so the Help Center’s search also includes forum posts.
