Register extract or erasure of data at the request of a customer (Data takeout)

According to GDPR, your customers are entitled to request that their personal data be erased from your systems. They can also request a register extract/export of their data. Since Kundo is a data processor for you, such enquiries also affect your account at Kundo and the personal data we store on your behalf.

To erase data on behalf of a customer, do as follows:

  1. You need to confirm that the person is who they claim to be. You can do this by phoning the person or confirming that the request comes from the right e-mail address. It is your responsibility to confirm this in an appropriate manner!

  2. Send an e-mail message to support@kundo.se. The person who sends the request from you needs to be an editor for the channel (forum/mail/chat, etc.) that you want to erase data from. Your e-mail message needs to contain:

    • Information on which person’s (e-mail address) data is to be erased.

    • Information that you have confirmed the person’s identity in the form of the text “We have confirmed the identity of the person(s)”.

    • An explicit request that all [Mail/Forum posts/Chats] that the person wrote to you are to be erased.

  3. We will respond shortly with a confirmation.

To request a register extract/export on behalf of a customer, do as follows:

  2. Send an e-mail message to support@kundo.se. The person who sends the request from you needs to be an editor for the channel (forum/mail/chat, etc.) that you want to export data from. Your e-mail message needs to contain:

    • Information about which person (e-mail address) the export relates to.

    • Information that you have confirmed the person’s identity in the form of the text “We have confirmed the identity of the person(s)”.

    • An explicit request that all e-mails/forum posts/chats] that the person wrote to you are to be exported.

  3. We will respond shortly with a confirmation and an attached register extract/export in an appropriate format.
